We avoid any business relationship that may lead to a potential conflict of interest. We do not promise, grant, demand or accept any action taken or to be taken in the future, either in the public or private sector, that could lead to a conflict of interest. A conflict of interest also exists when invitations or gifts exceed customary business limits. Potential conflicts must therefore be identified as early as possible. This also applies in particular to a possible disturbance of industrial peace. As far as possible and if a conflict of interest cannot be avoided, it must be resolved fairly and in open dialog.
